Marlo's award-nominated YouTube channel joined the multi-award-winning production company, World of Wonder’s network after receiving a contract in less than a week of posting her first video: a review of the RuPaul candy bar. Named Klout’s #1 female live streamer, she was awarded a contract with Periscope’s first talent network, Lifestream Productions, and placed on 3 top Periscoper lists after her first week of live streaming. A founding host of the live streaming platform, Gravy Live, she was a multi(platform)streamer, streaming on as many as 9 platforms simultaneously with audiences in the tens of thousands. She was featured on Live.Me, Pocket Live, GhostCodes & MeVee, and trended on Periscope & Hype.  Having served Tik Tok as part of Tik Tok’s Creative Learning Fund, "Candy" created educational videos for TikTok, ByteDance, Bansho, and Likee.

Her first published piece, “Sweet from Sour: Saved by a Supermodel”, is part of the best-selling “Open Your Gifts”, and received its debut at TedX Navesink.

Early 2020 saw the launch of Sprinkles Wear, born out of Marlo meeting many bakers, cakers, and confectioners at Cake Pop Con and on Instagram. The collection received high praise from delighted crowds at a sell-out show at LA Cookie Con in February, 2020.

As Covid surged, Cake Purse was created and is a continuation of Marlo's mission to sweeten people's lives. Made of 100% inedible ingredients, sugar, and calorie-free, handmade handbags are created for those with a passion for fashion and a love of yummy treats.  After being approached by a number of art-based companies, she created pieces in the hopes of sweetening homes around the world with art pieces that delight the eye and stir up happy thoughts and memories.

Having lost her mother to cancer in December 2019, “Candy’s” nieces lost a female role model as a grandmother. She decided that she would try to fill in for her mother where she could.  Marlo wanted to create an opportunity for them to learn about their heritage and create memories.  She began a culinary adventure, having penned several articles for American Cake Decorating Magazine.

In the summer of 2023, the iconic NYC eatery, Serendipity 3, handpicked Marlo to bring their famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate to life as a purse! 2,500 hand placed crystals decorate a Frrrozen Hot Chocolate replica which takes 3 weeks to complete.
